Hi there! I’m Makaila, but you can call me Kay, the face behind the lens. My photography journey began back in 2020, in the middle of the crazy pandemic. I had just became a new mom and couldn’t stop taking pictures of my baby girl, Holland. My craft began to spread around to other local moms and grew into a career I am so passionate and in love with. My biggest inspiration was being able to give families beautiful photos of their babies like the ones of my own that brought me so much joy.

I began working solely with newborn clients out of a small den in my home. I then fell in love with watching my newborns grow as they came back for their milestone sessions. Creating sets for their birthday sessions became my specialty. I loved being able to let my creativity flourish.

By the end of that first year, I opened my own studio located in Union, New Jersey. I added maternity and family sessions to my brand, and was recognized by a US background company to become a set designer for their inventory. I am blessed to be in a field I truly love and would be honored to share my craft with all families in search of capturing life lasting memories.
